What is a Wellbeing Coach?

It is not telling you what to do for starters. It is partnering with individuals who would like to enhance an area of their lives and need someone to help them find their path. Wellbeing includes many areas of health including, emotional, physical, financial, career, spiritual, environmental and social. Each of these areas can also be broken down into subcategories and each of those may be the first step in helping you to become the person that you may not know you want to become.


I know this sounds a little vague but there is a method to the madness. Each of us knows ourselves better than anyone else and are the experts of our lives. Sometimes we may need someone to help us to course correct or break out of a rut or just to help us gain a fresh perspective. This is where a coach can help. Coaches do not prescribe a path, they simply work with you to help you determine the correct path and serve as an accountability partner if you like, to help keep you on track.


Coaching may be for a brief period of time or it may be an ongoing process depending on your needs. You may need several sessions with a coach to determine your end goal because many times we may think we have a path in mind, but from discussions and soul searching you may realize that what you thought was the end goal was a milestone.
